How to protect your home from the rain!

This weekend we are expected to get a couple inches of rain.

1. Make sure your gutters are cleaned from all the leaves and debris. We recommend doing this two times a year.

2. Run solid pvc pipe with clean outs at each downspout. Run the pipe to the front or back of the property with a pop up head.

3. In areas holding water install a French drain, channel drain, or box drain. Move the water from where it is collecting and let it discharge in a safe place.

4. Add sod, decorative gravel, mulch, artificial turf or river rock to slow water down to allow for a mud free yard.
