Has your contractor informed you about the difference between solid PVC pipe and corrugated pipe?
If you’re installing a permanent surface like a paver patio or concrete I highly recommend solid pvc.
It is sturdy and won’t sink or get crushed from the weight. Corrugated pipe is quick and cost effective way to route your downspouts away from the house.
Make sure your contractor isn’t using duck tape on the connection points. If you have many tree roots when running downspouts I would recommend solid pvc pipe.
I would recommend a clean out with any downspout.
Corrugated is good flexible option when trying to move water away from the house a short distance.
